Situated in the historic downtown area of Grand Junction, the City Hall provides ready accessibility to the business district of the City. The new facility was built according to the 20-year Master Plan developed, in part, by Blythe Group +co. for the City of Grand Junction. The project provided space for administration, council meeting auditorium, training, community development / planning, finance, public works, clerk, information services, personnel and municipal court. Blythe Group + co. performed the exterior design, space planning, interior architecture and design, and furniture, fixture, and equipment design packages. Blythe Group + co. provided approximately 63% of the architectural design man-hours, 65% of all the architectural design drawings, and 100% of the furniture, fixture, and equipment design.
